Two-Car Accident Kills One in Dover

Fatal Crash

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Saturday afternoon in Dover.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 20, a Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Dyke Branch Road and began to approach a moderate curve. Simultaneously, a Volvo S40 was traveling westbound and approaching the same curve.

For reasons still under investigation by police, the Honda failed to remain in its lane and crossed into the westbound lane.
