Two arrested with 500+ bags of heroin in Lincoln

Police say two men were arrested last night after they were found with marijuana and over 500 bags of heroin.

Around 8:30 p.m., Delaware State Police say Christopher Thomas and Leon Davis were approached by troopers after they were found in the driveway of an abandoned home near Neal Road just west of Crooked Road.

We’re told the two smelled of marijuana, prompting a pat-down search. Police say they found 41 bags of heroin, over four grams of marijuana and suspected drug proceeds on Thomas, while Davis was found with over a gram of marijuana and over $1,400 dollars in suspected drug proceeds.

According to police 585 bags of heroin were found underneath the driver’s seat.

Both Thomas and Davis are charged with: Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession of Heroin, 2nd Degree Conspiracy, 3rd Degree Conspiracy, two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.

Police say they were committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $4,600.00 secured bond.
