Dover Man Arrested for Three Separate Burglary Incidents

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department has arrested a man in connection with several burglaries that took place in the area.

On Wednesday, Sept. 10, police investigated a burglary that took place at the Dunkin Donuts on North DuPont Highway. Officers determined that 43-year-old Jose Dominguez-Morales was responsible for this burglary, in addition to burglaries at Taqueria El Cabrito on Aug. 28 and La Hacienda on Sept. 7. In all three instances, Dominguez-Morales used an object to break a glass entrance and removed money and/or property from the locations before fleeing. He was also found responsible for an attempted burglary at Ace Hardware on Independence Boulevard.

A patrol officer took took Dominguez-Morales into custody without incident on Wednesday. He was transported to the Dover Police Department where he was processed and arraigned. Dominguez-Morales was committed to SCI on $32,000 secured bail on multiple charges, including four counts of third degree burglary.
