Police Investigating Bank Robbery at M&T in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. – Seaford Police are currently investigating an attempted robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon at M&T Bank on West Stein Highway.

Police responded to the bank shortly after 2:00 p.m. following reports of an unidentified male subject attempting to rob the bank. The subject passed a note to a bank teller demanding cash. An unknown amount was turned over and the subject fled in a vehicle.

At this time officers have cleared the scene and there is no indication of a further danger to the public. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Lewis at 302-629-6645.
