Dover Police Investigating Early Morning Robbery
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place on the 400 block of North New Street early Monday morning.
Officers responded to a call at 1:08 a.m. on Sept. 1 reporting an armed robbery. The victim told officers he was seated in a vehicle when he was approached by two Black males, wearing dark clothing and riding electric scooters. He also observed the suspects to be armed with handguns. When the suspects demanded the victim turn over his property, he complied, and the suspects fled. During this incident, one of the suspects hit the victim in the face causing minor injuries.
