A University from India signs partnership deal with Wor-Wic Community College

 

SALISBURY, Md. – Wor-Wic Community College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Symbiosis University in Pune, India.

Attended by Symbiosis University President, Dr. Swati Mujumdar, and Wor-Wic Community College President, Dr. Deb Casey.

The agreement focuses on strengthening global partnerships and driving workforce development. Specifically, in the fields of innovation and economic growth.

Dr. Swati Mujumdar is excited about what’s ahead. “This will contribute to workforce development, and I’m very happy that we are doing something with a common goal, said Mujumdar. “Which is going to benefit students, the workforce, and of course the industry.”

Dr. Deb Casey said this is a win for both sides. “This is an important opportunity for our students to experience what global education can mean for them living right here on the lower eastern shore.”

This signing will allow for student study abroad, internships, and faculty exchanges, and more.
