Bivalve Man drove on suspended license, fled police

SALISBURY, Md. – On Sunday, November 10th, a Salisbury deputy attempted to stop a car that was driving erratically and crossing the centerline on Beaglin Park Drive.  When the car came to a stop the driver, later identified as Nicholas Lopez, jumped out and ran on foot. The deputy caught up to Lopez detaining him not too far from where he was pulled over. Lopez told police he fled on foot because he didn’t want to go to jail. Lopez was driving under a suspended and revoked license. Lopez is being charged with an attempt to flee and elude by fleeing on foot, driving suspended, and driving revoked.
