Easton man accused of breaking into home to steal shotgun

Jawaun L. Blake, 23, of Easton, Md.

Easton Police say an Easton man was arrested earlier this month in connection to the burglary of a shotgun from a home.

On April 4th, officers responded to a residence on Mt. Pleasant Avenue where they learned that someone broke into the home and stole a shotgun, loose change and a video game console.

Investigators say they found evidence that they used to develop Jawaun L. Blake, 23, as the suspect. Blake was arrested the next day and charged with first degree burglary, theft under $1,000 and possessing of a shotgun with a history of violent behavior.

He was committed to the Talbot County Detention Center on no bond.
