CFES providing grants up to $5K to local educators

MARYLAND. – Teachers looking for a financial boost, listen up.

The Community Foundation the Eastern Shore opened up grant applications for educators to apply, and they could receive up to $5,000.

This is the foundation’s way of thanking educators across the Shore, and director of community impact, Lauren Ansted said the funds can be used however the applicant sees best fit.

“The funds can be used pretty broadly for classroom based or school-wide projects,” said Ansted. “We get a lot of projects that are curriculum focused, you know, your math, science, reading, but it doesn’t have to be.”

The application deadline is August 29th. To submit an application, you can visit CFESGrants.communityforce.com.
