Women Supporting Women hosting 24th annual Walk for Awareness

SALISBURY, Md. – Women Supporting Women’s annual Walk for Awareness returns to Salisbury this fall.

The organization uplifts and educates women who have beat and are currently fighting breast cancer. This will be the walk’s 24th year, bringing people from across the Shore together to spread awareness about the disease.

Plenty of resources will be on hand as well, and it’s something that organizers say everyone can look forward to.

“You see everybody just in a sea of pink and it’s just such a cheery, happy, momentous occasion,” said Raven Cook. “Everybody is up and ready to go and ready to show their support, and show that they’re there.”
