Two Dover men arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

The Dover Police Department Street Crimes Unit reportedly arrested two Dover men on drug charges on Friday night.

The report states that Jeffery Collins, 31, and David Taylor, 22, were pulled over after officials say they saw the men committing a cell phone violation around 10:15 PM.

Officials state they pulled Collins and Taylor over in the area of North Street when they smelled marijuana in the car. According to the report, after searching the vehicle officers found about 47 grams of marijuana in the vehicle that was packaged for resale.

Officials say that both Collins and Taylor were released on unsecured bond on the charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy second degree.
