Local woman providing free school supplies to children in need
SALISBURY, Md. – One local woman is helping get students on the right track, ahead of the 2025 school year.
At this upcoming Third Friday, Tiffany Moore is partnering with the city of Salisbury to host a back-to-school bash, where she’ll be distributing school supplies to 200 students in need.
Moore has been at this in the community for several years and said this mission wouldn’t be possible without support from the locals.
“When the kids walk up, they’ll get their book bag first and then we’ll send them to the next table that correlates with the grade that they’re in,” Moore said. “You just come, and you get it, because we also realize that school supplies not only support the students, but the teachers as well.”
If you’re interested in donating, you can drop off school supplies at 111 Baptist Street, Suite 102. Moore will have a booth set up at Third Friday on August 15th, where you can pick up free school supplies.
