Easton man arrested on assault charges following domestic disturbance

Easton Police say they arrested a man on Thursday after he allegedly assaulted a woman and caused damage to a residence.

Officers responded to a home on Sycamore Avenue for a report of a disturbance where officers found a woman who was bleeding from her face. Additionally, officers found items that had been pulled from the walls and destroyed, officials said.

Police arrested a 34-year-old male, charging him with second degree assault and malicious destruction of property.

He was released on an unsecured bond of $5,000.
