Cambridge Muralist to Host Pop Up Art Class

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – A Cambridge muralist has been making waves.. working on the latest addition to the city’s mural trail, but she’s also preparing to help teach a little.

Muralist, Miriam Moran is planning to host what she is calling a “pop-up class” at the mural on Cedar Street this Thursday, July 31st and Friday, August 1st for kids ages eleven and up.

We caught up with her while she was continuing to paint her mural about being able to share an afternoon teaching local kids.

Moran tells us, “Letting them can be a part and paint flags, Latin flags is just a celebration of just unity and just making sure that all of us just being a family together, I feel like art brings family, and family brings unity.”

Miriam also tells us she’s going to allow those who participate in the pop-up classes to help paint the mural she’s working on.
