Wicomico County Health Dept. offers free immunization clinic ahead of 2025 school year

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – The Wicomico County Health Department is offering a free child immunization clinic, Thursday.

The department is helping families gear up for the school year by vaccinating kids according vaccination guidelines, and children entering kindergarten.

Community health director of Nursing, Olivia Butler said the clinic is open to anyone who registers, by calling 410-543-6943.

“We started, initially, several years ago offering those, and as the years go on, the grades change that they need that, because of their age,” said Butler. “We’ve caught kids up when they were younger, and then of course we have kids that are coming here from other areas that don’t have the same requirement, that we’re catching up.”
