Wor Wic Community College Reaffirms Accreditation

(SALISBURY, Md) – Wor Wic Community College is celebrating a new milestone.

The community college announced they have had their accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).

This process helps to see if the college is meeting the standards when it comes to matters such as ethics and outcomes for their students.

Academic Affairs Vice President, Dr Carie Solembrino says this goes a long way for Wor Wic toward enticing students who may not be set on what they want to pursue.

“Our motto is “Students first, Excellence always” in developing curriculum. Our faculty is ensuring that we’re meeting objectives, general education objectives,” says Dr. Solembrino.

The accreditation process for a community college like Wor-Wic usually takes place every ten years.
