Registration open for Mac’s Soles for Seniors event

SALISBURY, Md. – Registration is now open for the Soles for Seniors event at Mac Inc. Area Agency on Aging.

It’s the agency’s largest annual event and its a great way to show support for seniors on the lower eastern shore.

The event will include a 1-mile walk, live music, craft vendors plus food & drink as well as resources for seniors.

Proceeds from the event go to supporting programs at Mac.

“All of the money we can bring in is more people that we can serve,” said Nick Cranford of Mac Inc. “It’s more meals that we can deliver, it’s more people we can have in our programs, we can get rid of the waitlist, so it’s a great way for us to raise money for our important programs, but also its a great chance for our community to come by, come into our building, see our space learn more about Mac and learn about the stuff we have available.”

The Soles for Seniors event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4th from 9 am to 1 pm.
