Multiple narcotics raids made Thursday morning in Crisfield

The Crisfield Police Department says about 100 officers from multiple law enforcement agencies assisted Crisfield Police with narcotics raids at 15 different locations Thursday morning throughout Crisfield.

Officials say the 6 AM narcotics sweeps were part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and use of narcotics in the community.

Law enforcement officials are asking community members to encourage anyone suffering from addition to reach out for help from McCready Hospital Outpatient Services at 410-968-1801 or the Somerset County Health Department's Unmask Addiction program at 443-880-0299 or 443-880-2187.
