Milford police investigating homicide in Windward Grove Development

MILFORD, Del. – The Milford Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at a residence in the 7500 block of Wickersham Lane in the Windward Grove Development in Milford.

On Thursday, just before 10:30 p.m. Milford police responded to the home for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound inside the home.

Witnesses tried performing CPR on the individual before EMS arrived. Once EMS got there, they continued life-saving measures, but the victim succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead.

An initial investigation determined the victim and suspect were involved in an argument which resulted in the shooting.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
