Crisfield man arrested in Delaware in connection to April homicide
CRISFIELD, Md. – A Crisfield man has been arrested on charges stemming from a homicide back in April.
At around 4:45 p.m. on April 25th, Crisfield Police officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of Cove Street for a report of a person shot. Officers arrived at the scene to find a man, later identified as 20-year-old Evan Neal, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further investigation led detectives to identify the suspect as 28-year-old Tyren Ivey of Crisfield. He was arrested Friday morning and was charged with first degree murder, second degree attempted murder, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and other firearm related offenses.
He was arrested in Delaware by Delaware State Police and transported to the Somerset County Detention Center.
