MONDAY MEMO
TO: ALL STAFF
FROM: KATHLEEN
DATE: 10 APRIL 2017
TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME!

Let 47 ABC take you out to the ballgame!
Update: 47ABC is sponsoring Two Buck Mondays again this season. The billboard for the 47 ABC Sports Team is up and located on the top row, down the third base line. The first game of the season was the Shorebirds exhibition game against Salisbury University last Tuesday and Shane Johnson was the lucky recipient of four tickets and a parking pass. Our season ticket seats are in a choice location in the 3rd row right behind the first base dugout! As in other years first choice of dates for the parking voucher and 4-pack of free tickets went out to our clients last week and then we reserved some for our website contest page promotions. The really good news for you is that we have some great dates still available for employee use:
o This Thursday, 13 April Game time is 7:05PM
o This Friday, 14 April Game time is 7:05PM
o This Sunday, 16 April Afternoon game time is 2:05PM
• And the week after next we have:
o Monday, 24 April Game time is 7:05PM
o Tuesday, 25 April Game time is 7:05PM
o Wednesday, 26 April Morning game starts at 10:35AM
o Thursday, 27 April Game time is 7:05PM
o Sunday, 30 April Afternoon game time is 2:05PM
If you would like a free 4-pack of game tickets and a voucher for free parking for one of these dates, see Tamara Horn (x 396). Tickets will be distributed on a first come/first served basis. Offer good while supplies last!
OUT IN THE COMMUNITY
• John Ebert produced a terrific PSA to encourage high school seniors from Wicomico and Somerset Counties, who may have thought they could never afford college, to stay in school and take advantage of the Last Dollar Funding at WorWic Community College this fall. Last Dollar Funding means that, for qualifying seniors, if they don’t get enough grants to cover their tuition, the County or State will kick in the balance due. Sports Reporter Travon Miles, who has the knack of looking at the camera and connecting directly with kids, cut the PSA. It began airing last week and will continue through the end of May. If you missed it on air, you can see it at this link:
