BVSPCA caring for nearly two dozen animals rescued from Kent Co. home

KENT CO., Del. – The Brandywine Valley SPCA says it is caring for numerous pets who were rescued from a Kent County home last week.

We’re told nearly two dozen cats and two dogs were pulled to safety from unsanitary conditions by Delaware Animal Services officers. Officials say the officers and animals endured filthy conditions and poor air quality during the hours-long rescue operation.

The animals were brought to the Brandywine Valley SPCA’s Animal Rescue Center in Georgetown for care.
