Four arrests made after drug investigation in Millsboro

In Millsboro, Delaware State Police have arrested four people after a month long narcotics investigation.
Members from the Sussex County Drug Unit, the Governor's Task Force, as well as State Police Special Operations Response Team (S.O.R.T.) all contributed to the arrests.
At around 3 p.m. On Friday, April 17th, detectives conducted a search warrant at a house in the 27000 block of Sandy Drive in Millsboro.
As detective arrived at the house, they saw 36-year-old Jamel Gibbs running down the hallway and going into a bathroom where he tried to get rid of a number of bags of suspected cocaine and heroin in the toilet.
Gibbs along with 51-year-old Navonda Farrow, 54-year-old Pornell Farrow, and 28-year-old Krista Gdowik were contacted in the residence and placed in custody without incident.
A 6-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were also in the house and were turned over to family members at the scene.
Detectives found a total of 326 bags of heroin (2.282 grams), 5.61 grams of powder cocaine, 1.73 grams of marijuana, over $4,200.00 in suspected drug proceeds, as well as a 12 gauge shotgun.
Gibbs was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Heroin), Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Resisting Arrest, two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $50,000.00 cash bond.
Navonda Farrow was charged with Maintaining a Drug Property and Unlawfully Dealing With a Child Where Dangerous Drugs are Present and released on $2,000 unsecured bond.
Pornell Farrow was charged with Maintaining a Drug Property and also released on $2,000 unsecured bond.
Krista Gdowik was charged with two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawfully Dealing With a Child Where Dangerous Drugs are Present and released on $300 unsecured bond.
