Millsboro area crash claims life of one, injures two

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police say a Dagsboro man was killed in a crash in the Millsboro area Tuesday evening.

At around 5:15 p.m., troopers say a Lincoln MKZ was driving westbound on Hollyville Road near Harmon’s Hill Road. At the same time, a Cadillac Escalade was driving eastbound in the same area. The Lincoln reportedly entered the eastbound lane, into the path of the Cadillac, subsequently causing a crash.

The driver of the Lincoln, a 19-year-old Dagsboro man, was allegedly not restrained and was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 52-year-old Dagsboro woman, was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and a 56-year-old female passenger was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
