The City of Salisbury plans to have eventful summer season

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury is getting ready to kick off its summer season.

There are several events lined up for residents to enjoy. Some include the Juneteenth parade, the Pride parade, and Red, White, and Boom July 4th extravaganza.

The Folk Festival as it stands will cap off summer.

City Council President D’Shawn Doughty is excited about all the festivities and hopes residents will get in on all the fun events going down in the city.

“I just can’t wait to fill up my calendar with all these great events. It’s really something that’s going to be great for us.”

The next downtown event is Third Friday, May 16th.
