Indian River School District announces change to last day of school

SELBYVILLE, Del. – The Indian River School District has moved the last day of school for the 2024-2025 school year.

The last day of school for students from grades K-11 will now be on Wednesday, June 11th. The last day for preschool will be on Tuesday, June 10th.

Final exams for Indian River and Sussex Central High Schools will be on June 10th and 11th.

The changes are a result of unused surplus hours built into the calendar when the school day was extended by 20 minutes late last month.
