Felton man charged with violating court orders

FELTON, Del. – A Felton man is facing charges after he allegedly violated court orders.

On both April 5th and April 11th, Felton Police were called regarding a reported violation of a protection from abuse order. It was learned through physical evidence that the suspect violated the order on both occasions by trying to contact the female victim from Sussex Correctional Institute, where the suspect is currently incarcerated.

Further investigation led police to charge the suspect, 45-year-old Steven Huey Sr., with two counts each of criminal contempt of a domestic violence protective order and breach of release.
