Pair arrested on drug and firearm offenses in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested a pair on drug and gun charges stemming from search warrants in Dover last week.

Law enforcement executed two search warrants on April 9th, one at a house on Harmony Lane and the second at a house on State Circle, following an investigation into two suspects regarding the distribution of illegal narcotics from the properties. Before executing the warrant on State Circle, detectives reportedly saw a red Cadillac Escalade, driven by one of the suspects, leave the residence. Troopers stopped the vehicle and arrested 34-year-old Jaaron Tolson.

The second suspect, 36-year-old Ian Tolson, was taken into custody at the Harmony Lane residence.

At the State Circle property, police reportedly found two 9mm handguns and ammunition, a stolen .45 caliber handgun and ammunition, approximately .02 grams of crack cocaine, and a digital scale. The search at the Harmony Lane home led police to find a 9mm handgun and ammunition, approximately 34.30 grams of crack cocaine, and a digital scale.

It was also learned that Ian Tolson is a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms and/or ammunition. He was held at SCI on a $105,500 cash bond on a list of drug and firearm charges, as well as two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Jaaron Tolson was held at SCI on a $77,000 cash bond on multiple firearm and drug charges, plus two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
