Crews quickly extinguish Ocean Pines house fire

OCEAN PINES, Md. – Firefighters battled a house fire in Ocean Pines Tuesday night.

Crews were called to the 1100 block of Ocean Parkway at around 9:45 p.m., immediately observing flames in a bedroom at the back of the home. A firefighter reportedly closed open doors of the home, which helped contain the fire to the bedroom and limited further damage.

Crews were able to fully extinguish the fire in less than 30 minutes.
