Shots fired investigation underway in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a report of shots fired that happened Thursday evening.

At around 8:15 p.m. troopers were called to the area of Saxton Road and Steele Road for a shots fired complaint. On arrival, several citizens reported hearing multiple shots being fired, and it was learned that the shots appeared to have come from a passenger vehicle that was was in the area at the time and had fled.

A bullet casing was found in the street. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
