Delmarva Shorebirds to host ‘Arbor Day’ April 9th to promote conservation efforts for trees
SALISBURY, Md. – Arbor Day is coming to Delmarva, on April 9th. The Delmarva Shorebirds invite those in the forestry industry and tree services to recognize the importance of trees.
According to organizers of WMDT, trees are essential for global health, local communities, and waterways. Maryland’s Forest Association Beth Hill said events like this are great opportunities.
“It shows the forest that pays, generally stays, and that means people are investing in keeping their forest, and not other uses, and the Delmarva Shorebirds want to highlight that.”
