Good Morning Delmarva discusses nominations for the Good Neighbor Award

WMDT –Do you know someone in the Ocean Pines area who needs their hard work highlighted?

Each month, Ocean Pines recognizes a resident with the Good Neighbor Award, featuring them in the “The Week in the Pines” newsletter and on their social media.

This is a new award that started in January after several snowstorms where neighbors leaned on each other for support.

Linda Yurche, chair of the OP Communications Advisory committee, says that their neighbors always do small, good acts for others that go unnoticed, so they wanted to highlight their contributions.

The deadline for nominations is the 10th of each month.
