DEVELOPING: Maryland State Police investigating crash involving school bus in Wicomico Co.

WICOMICO CO., Md. – Maryland State Police are investigating a crash involving a school bus that happened Monday afternoon.

Details are limited at this time. We’re told the crash happened at around 3:20 p.m. in the area of Route 50 and Forest Grove Road. Preliminary investigation indicates that the crash involved a school bus and a box truck.

We’re told one person has been flown to a nearby hospital by Maryland State Police Aviation for treatment.

Crews remain at the scene.
