Trial date set for man accused of murdering missing wife

A trial date has been set for a Delaware man accused of killing his wife, who has been missing since January.
According to an official from the Delaware Department of Justice, 32-year-old Cortez Hamilton will face trial on March 13, 2017 for allegedly killing his wife Keisha Hamilton with a hammer before taking off to Indiana with their two children, who were four years old and four months old at the time.
The children were found to be good condition in January and Hamilton was later extradited to Delaware; however, investigators with the Delaware State Police say as of Monday, Keisha Hamilton is still considered a missing person and the investigation on her status is still ongoing.
In April, 47 ABC spoke with her sister Janell Foster who told us bringing justice for Keisha means more than convicting her killer, but also coming forward with the body.
“Just to know that she’s just thrown anywhere is…is horrible, you know? Her children deserve to have her laid to rest. She deserves to be laid to rest properly.” Said Foster.
According to the April indictment, Hamilton faces charges including 1st degree murder, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of a deadly weapon.
