Seaford man seriously injured in industrial accident

SEAFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating an industrial accident that left a Seaford man seriously injured Thursday morning.

Just before 10 a.m., troopers were called to Bi-Rite Auto Sale in Seaford for a reported industrial accident. It was learned that a 35-year-old male contractor was on site working on the roof when they fell off the roof.

The victim was first taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, but was later transferred to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
