Milford man arrested on burglary charges
MILFORD, Del. — A Milford man was arrested on burglary charges after he allegedly broke into a Milford car wash.
Milford Police say William Hutson II broke into the Duck In Car Wash on 215 Aerenson Drive three separate times between September 15th and September 16th, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Surveillance footage from the car wash shows Hutson allegedly taking an undisclosed amount of money during those three separate entries.
Police say Hutson also caused damage to the inside of the building as well.
Employees at the car wash were able to identify the 39-year-old through surveillance footage.
As of now, some of what was taken from the car wash has been found and returned.
Hutson was found in a wooded area a short time later and taken into custody. He was charged with two counts of third degree burglary, possession of burglar tools, theft of $1500 or more, and criminal mischief under $1000.
He has been released on $8500 unsecured bail.
