DSU 2016 Football Preview

The Delaware State University football program is in the midst of camp as it prepares for a September 1st season opener.
The program is entering its second season under head coach Kenny Carter. The Hornets finished just 1-10 last season. Carter brought in 43 freshmen this season and 46 new players total.
The squad boasts only 11 juniors and six seniors. Junior linebacker Malik Haris earned College Football Scouting All-American preseason honors.
The team will be using a two-quarterback system with sophomore Kobie Lane and Junior JuCo transfer Dan Epperson splitting duties.
