Wesley Football Preview

The Wesley football team enters the 2016 season with more questions than the program is use to having. The team moves on from the Joe Callahan era, after he finished one of the most prolific Division 3 careers ever. Now the team transitions to the next QB under center, while looking to continue their dominance on the field.

The battle at QB looks to be a two man race at this point, with both Dan Kesack and Nick Falkenberg. While there is uncertainty there, the Wolverines look loaded at several other positions including wide receiver. The team returns Alex Kemp, James Okike and Preseason All-American Bryce Shade. On top of that, they return one of the top running backs in the nation in Jamar Baynard. As for the defensive side of the ball, Wesley hopes a year of experience will help what was a young group a year ago. The Wolverines expect to lean heavily as well on Samer Manna.
