UMES STEM educator Brad Hartle shows GMD how to make DIY crystal snowflakes

WMDT – Brad Hartle, a STEM educator with the University of Maryland Extension has returned with another kid-friendly science experiment.

Hartle showed Good Morning Delmarva how to make DIY Crystal Snowflakes using Borax, Hot Water, Pipe Cleaners, and Mason Jars.

It takes about 24 hours for the crystals to form fully, and parental supervision is required.
