Drug investigation leads to numerous charges for Seaford man
SEAFORD, Del. – A Seaford man is behind bars on numerous charges stemming from an investigation last week.
On February 6th, law enforcement executed a search warrant that was obtained following an investigation into the manufacturing and distributing of illegal narcotics. Officers responded to the residence in the 10000 block of Pit Road, at which time they saw a Hummer H3 being driven by the suspect, 37-year-old William Nieberg, leaving the residence. Detectives stopped the vehicle and detained Nieberg.
At the property, police say they found a 9mm handgun with no serial number and ammunition, approximately 3,821.55 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and equipment used for growing marijuana.
Nieberg was held at SCI on a $153,100 cash bond on a list of drug and firearm related charges, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.
