Cape Henlopen High School officials warn of event scam circulating social media

LEWES, Del. – Cape Henlopen High School officials say an event scam circulated on Facebook earlier this week.

We’re told the advertisement was for a “Spring Festival” on March 7th through 9th, and asked vendors to reserve their spots with provided costs for space and food trucks.

Officials say this is not a real event, and if you or someone you know paid to reserve a vendor spot, you should reach out to your local police department to file a fraud report.
