SCS girl’s basketball prevails in ‘Orange Out’ for Courtney Dunn

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Christian School girl’s basketball pulled away from Nandua in the 4th quarter, securing a victory on Friday night.

The gym was packed, bleachers filled with friends, family, and fans donning orange in honor of Courtney Dunn, a teacher at the school who was tragically killed in a car accident in August.

The jags and warriors initially battled to a draw, with the game tied at 16 at halftime.

SCS took a 23-20 lead into the 4th quarter before outscoring Nandua by 8 in the final period, winning 37-26.

Emily Basch led all scorers in the game with 15 points. Natalie Bailey added 9.
