Man sentenced in Dover after reported drug and gun arrest in October 2015

A man arrested for drug and gun possession plead and was sentenced Wednesday morning in Dover.
According to officials, Kevin McDonald, Jr. Of Dover, plead guilty to two counts of drug dealing, attempted drug dealing in tier four quantity, and illegal transfer of a firearm.
He was then reportedly sentenced to two years in prison, followed by six months of level four work release, and one year of level four home confinement.
State officials tell 47ABC, McDonald will then have 18 months of level three probation.
McDonald was arrested in September 2015, after police say they stopped his vehicle for running a stop sign, when police searched his vehicle, they say they found a gun, suspected drug proceeds, and drugs. He was then reported to be held on drug, gun and failure to stop at a stop sign charges.
He was previously reportedly arrested on drug and racketeering charges, and was prohibited from using a gun.
