Plane crashes near Philadelphia Mall

Philadelphia, PA (AP) – According to the Associated Press, A small plane crashed in Northeast Philadelphia just 30 seconds after taking off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport on Friday. The crash occurred less than 3 miles from the airport, near Roosevelt Mall, causing a fiery scene.
Flight data showed the plane disappeared from radar shortly after reaching an altitude of 1,600 feet. Six people were aboard, and the plane, registered to Med Jets, was believed to be a medical transport flight en route to Springfield, Missouri. Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang, followed by a large explosion.
Emergency crews are responding, and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating. Roads in the area are closed, and the crash site showed significant destruction.
Casualties are unknown at this current time.
