Arrest made in daycare robbery and armed robbery of taxi driver

The Dover Police Department says it has charged Donald Caldwell with the robbery of a City Cab driver on Tuesday morning.
Caldwell apparently turned himself in to the Dover Police Department on Wednesday afternoon after he was determined to be the suspect in the burglary of a local daycare.
According to the report, Caldwell was developed as a suspect in the taxi cab robbery as well, and confessed to the incident to detectives.
Officials say Caldwell was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $50,000 cash bond on the following offenses from both cases:
- Robbery 1st degree
- Possession of deadly weapon during commission of felony
- Burglary third degree
- Criminal mischief
