Morning shed fire under investigation in Eden

EDEN, Md. – A shed was destroyed during a fire Tuesday morning in Eden.

Officials say the blaze was reported at around 9:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Stockyard Road. Crews were able to control the blaze in approximately 40 minutes.

State fire marshals say the structure was vacant and secured at the time of the fire, and the electrical panel showed evidence of an unspecified electrical event. The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation. Total damage has been estimated at $30,000.
