The Salisbury Police is preparing for ball drop at Unity Square

SALISBURY, Md. – New Year’s Eve is a few days away, which means Salisbury will host a ball drop at Unity Square.

The event will have trivia, photo booths, and live performances.

Sergeant Thomas Hitty is excited about the event and urges the community to be responsible.

“We encourage everyone to have a great time. What we want people to remember is to be safe. Ultimately, we want to make sure everyone has a great time this year.”

The celebration will start at 9:30 p.m.
