The Worcester County Council of Art is bringing joy in a unique way
"Art for the Heart"
Berlin, Md. – Well, a local Art Museum has a unique way in which they trying to spread joy this holiday season. The Worcester County Art Council in Berlin has opened mini gallery called “Art for the Heart”.
Created by Anna Mullis, the purpose is to offer Art as a tool for emotional and spiritual healing, personal reflection, and Community connection.
The Council’s Administrative Assistant Sharon Sorrentino says this is the perfect ideal for today’s climate. “It’s something that people need now; they need to be uplifted. There’s so much going on in the world, and just a little rock with a saying on it, can uplift someone’s spirits, there’s lovely art in there.”
All the art if free and she says that’s what makes this unique. “Most of it is coming from our co-op artist here, but anyone may put something in and take something out.”
The “Art for the Heart” is open for the entire community, just stop by 6 Jefferson Street in Berlin, Maryland, to a get a gift that uplifts.
