Dover Police announce recipient of Distinguished Citizen Award

DOVER, Del. – Jermaine Milam has been honored with the Dover Police Department Distinguished Citizen Award.

Milam happened to be exiting a local Staples store on September 27th when he heard a woman screaming, discovering that she was the victim of an attempted robbery. Milam took the suspect into custody himself and held him down until officers arrived, leading to a successful arrest.
