BVSPCA gearing up for annual Mega Adoption event

GEORGETOWN, Del.- The Brandywine Valley SPCA’s Mega Adoption event is coming back to Delmarva.

As part of the event, the adoption fee for all animals has been reduced to $35. Spokesperson, Sara Smith said if you’re thinking of getting a loved one a new companion for Christmas, adopting instead of shopping is always the way to go.

“During the holidays, it is a hustle and bustle, but a lot of times people have more time at home, not at work,” Smith said. “They can welcome a new family member into their home and get them acclimated to the family and spend that extra time with them.”
